CashJosh is a cashback and coupons platform built for Indian online shoppers. When you start a purchase from CashJosh, you earn a share of the commission the store pays us for the referral, credited to your wallet and withdrawable to UPI or bank. It never changes the price you pay.
Is CashJosh safe and legit? Yes. You check out on the store’s own site, at the store’s own price, in rupees — CashJosh never handles your payment and never adds a fee. It runs on the same affiliate commissions that have sat behind e-commerce for two decades, and passes the majority of that commission back to you as cashback. It is free to join and free to withdraw.
How CashJosh cashback works
Most online stores pay a commission to whoever sends them a customer. That is ordinary affiliate marketing, and it has run behind e-commerce for two decades. A commission usually passes through an affiliate network, which records the click and matches it to your eventual order, then on to us as a registered publisher. CashJosh sits on the shopper's side of that arrangement: instead of keeping the commission, we pass the majority of it back to you as cashback.
You check out on the store's own site, at the store's own price, in rupees. The cashback is calculated afterwards on what you actually paid and appears in your wallet as Pending, then Confirmed once the store's return window closes. Who runs CashJosh
CashJosh is operated by CashJosh, a registered company based at Udham Singh Nagar, Kashipur, Uttarakhand, 244713 . The project and the cashjosh.com domain date to 2021; the platform in its current form launched publicly in 2026. A small team runs three things day to day: partner operations (adding stores, keeping cashback rates and terms current against each store's live affiliate feed), member support (tracking questions, missing-cashback claims, withdrawals), and editorial (the store guides and blog). Is CashJosh safe and legit?
Yes. CashJosh never asks for your card number, bank account, or UPI PIN. The "Shop & Earn" link only redirects you to the store's real checkout, where you enter payment details directly with the store, exactly as you would going there yourself. If any site ever asks you to type card or PIN details on its own pages in the name of "cashback," that is not how tracking works and is a red flag.
Withdrawals above the statutory threshold require PAN and KYC verification, in line with Section 194R of the Income-tax Act, and every withdrawal, claim, and account change is logged for audit. The site runs over HTTPS, and we store only what an account needs: your login, wallet balance, and the orders attributed to you. We never see your payment instruments.

We keep a portion of each commission rather than passing on all of it. On top of that, some networks and stores pay a platform a better rate for volume than the public affiliate rate, and we keep that spread; cashback that is earned but never withdrawn stays with the platform; and banks and apps pay a bounty for new customers we refer. None of that touches the price you pay at the store, which is why we can also afford to give new members a welcome bonus.
How we keep offers accurate
Cashback rates and coupon codes change often. Store pages are reviewed against each store's live affiliate feed and its own terms, and coupons carry a verified badge when they have been checked recently. Rates can still move between reviews, and the confirmation window for any store is always shown on that store's page and in your wallet. If you spot something out of date, tell support and we will correct it.
